a WEEK in PARADISE at this Mexican Hoop Intensive with new friends, the beach, delicious, fresh, local food, and great training.
Spend 7 days in beautiful Mexico diving into the delicious art of Aerial Hoop with Aisling Ní Cheallaigh. The retreat includes 5 full days of classes with Aisling as well as free time to train, create, or just lounge about the pool.
This Aerial Hoop Retreat will have 2 daily classes
Morning Madness – This class will be chock-full of spinning technique and stand alone skills. Have your ginger at the ready!
Afternoon Noodle – This class will be taken at a more relaxed pace and will focus on stitching sequences together from our morning class.
The rest of our time can be spent eating amazing, healthy food, swimming in the warm river and ocean, reading in hammocks, and breathing the tropical air.
Prerequisites:
Please send an audition video to Aisling at aisling.cheallaigh@gmail.com demonstrating the following prerequisites. The easiest way to send Aisling a video is to upload it to YouTube or Vimeo and send them the link. You can make the video private so that no one else can see it:
- 2 mins of choreography (a string of tricks or sequences together) while spinning.
- Please include an entry into the hoop while spinning
- A flare if you can do one (don’t worry if you can’t, we will be covering these!)

Daily Schedule Sample:
- (choose as many or few classes/activities as you like)
- 7:30-10am Coffee, Tea and Breakfast
- 10:30-12:30 Morning Madness Hoop Class
- 1pm Lunch
- 1-5pm Pool-time, siesta, relaxing
- 3:30pm afternoon snack and ice coffee
- 4:30-6:30pm Afternoon Noodle Hoop Class
- 7pm Dinner
- 8-10pm Evening Activities
We will take you to our favorite beach for swimming, surfing, snorkeling, and releasing baby turtles into the sea.

Your Teacher:
Aisling Ní Cheallaigh is an Irish aerialist homegrown and hand reared by a conglomerate of companies and coaches. They delight in flight and movement and while they specialises in Aerial Hoop they are also an expert dabbler in Straps, Fabric, Doubles Trapeze, Hand-to-Hand Acrobatics and the serious discipline of being hit in the face with a Cyr Wheel. They have flown far and wide performing on stages like Le Monastére (Canada) and FIRCO (Spain) and at large-scale events like Edinburgh’s Hogmanay (UK), The Islamic Solidarity Games (Azerbaijan), Montreal Completment Cirque (Canada), Bliss Circus Nights (India) and The Cathy Pacific Night Parade (Hong Kong). They co-created three of thier own shows ‘How to Square A Circle’, ‘Sub Rosa’ and ‘NASC’ and are currently creating a solo show ‘Easpa’. They are free range, organic and corn fed.

$500 Deposit is required to secure your spot.
Early bird prices end 3 months before the first day of the retreat.
Full tuition is due by one month before the first day of the retreat.
Rates refer to cost of one person’s tuition.
Couples must sign up together.
Significant others and friends who are not taking classes are welcome at a special price.
Dorms are mixed gender.

- Ground transportation to/from the Puerto Escondido Airport (PXM) to our accommodations*
